My love affair with Jewellery began as a teenager where I worked for Noel Herd - A Blenheim Jeweller. Playing in the workshop in my lunch breaks, then being asked to help in the workshop, cemented in a passion for the creative process of Jewellery making.

Coming from a long line of Family history in Jewellery, it was inevitable Amelia was going to be involved in the trade, in some way or another. Also taught by Noel Herd, Amelia has an eye for design and loves the creative challenges that working in the Jewellery trade brings.

Our extremely talented apprentice Aiden started with us at the end of 2021. After completing an introduction to Jewellery course, Aiden dipped his toe in the Jewellery trade working as a bench hand with Jens Hansen in Nelson for 2 years.

Laura has been with GMW since the tender age of 15! Since finishing school at the end of 2022, Laura came on board full-time and has absorbed loads of knowledge, and can assist you with all retail sales, in-taking of repairs, re-makes and custom makes.

Laura has taken on the huge role of updating our website, and keeping everyone up to date through our social medias.

A lot of customers will recognize the lovely Vernette, who after 30 years working in Pharmacy is a very familiar face in Redwood-town. Vernette is the friendly face who will greet you on a Tuesday and Thursday.

Our newest team member of GMW Jewellery. Maya joins our front of house team with a true passion for Jewellery and the manufacturing process.

Nigel operates the Machine Engraving side of the business off site, and in-between his day job as an Aviation Rescue Fire Fighter, and Chief Fire Officer of the Blenheim Volunteer Fire Brigade.

Coming to the shop since she was 10 weeks old, Della is a much-loved member of the GMW Jewellery Team. Loves to steal coffee, and on multiple occasions Laura's lunch.

The newest addition to the GMW Jewellery Team. Duke loves to be the center of attention and would be most pleased if you told him how beautiful he is.
